Description

Lightweight compact design

The lens is small (E-mount APS-C format) and lightweight (325g), and features an optical design specifically optimized for short back focusing distances, making it portable and easy to use on its own. It also significantly reduces the overall size and weight of the system, improving portability.

7.5x high-magnification APS-C zoom lens

The high zoom ratio offers a flexible range of 27mm to 202.5mm (35mm format equivalent, 7.5x optical zoom) to cover the widest possible range of subjects and situations: landscapes, wildlife, portraits, and everyday general photography.

Optical design for high resolution

The new optical design includes one aspherical element and helps ensure consistently high resolution from the center of the image to the edges, while two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements reduce chromatic aberration.

Built-in optical image stabilization

When using the camera handheld, especially when shooting at night or indoors in low light, built-in optical image stabilization makes it easy to capture clear, blur-free images.

Close-ups with background bokeh

With an impressive minimum focusing distance of just 0.45 m (at maximum magnification of 0.29x), you can easily shoot close-ups that take advantage of the lens’s beautiful background bokeh.

Superb background bokeh

Circular aperture design for improved background bokeh.

Fast, precise, quiet focusing

Advanced linear adjustment mechanism technology moves the focus group element silently with exceptional speed and precision, making the most of the high autofocus performance offered by the a6000 series. This allows you to focus more easily and precisely, whether shooting stills or movies, even with moving subjects.
